Hospital Information Technology Solutions (HITS) Technical Training Programs from Hill-Rom

The HITS Technical Training Programs are product certification programs specifically designed to meet our customers’ needs. There are classes specifically designed for hospital network engineers, system administrators and IT professionals.

Objectives
Upon completion, you will return to your facility with the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep your patient care areas functioning at required levels. The courses offer these specific objectives:

  • Hands-on knowledge of initial troubleshooting techniques
  • Understanding of product features and benefits
  • Ability to quickly spot and correct user errors
  • Knowledge of product warranties and parts ordering procedures
  • Theory of operation and component level replacement

Training Location: Cary, NC

Home of Hill-Rom’s Technology Solution Division (located approximately 16 miles from Raleigh/Durham Airport). Programs offered include: Nurse Call Manager Training, NNC IT Installation and Configuration Training and NNC System Maintenance.

Fees

Fees vary based on the course offered. Fees are listed on the “course request” page as well as the Hill-Rom HITS Training Brochure. You can also contact us direct for specific inquiries. All programs include training materials and certificates upon class completion. Seminar participants will be responsible for all other expenses; therefore, please arrange flights, rental cars and hotel per your facility’s travel policy.

Times

HITS Training seminars class times are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM EST.

Materials

All Service manuals, user manuals and recommended spare parts lists, as well as student guides are provided. Testing includes problem diagnosis and written exam.

Prerequisites

Attendees must have thorough understanding of the principles of networking as well as experience with Windows 2003 Server & SQL. (Note the course descriptions for additional details.)
