Blake Goins

Blake Goins is a 15 year old boy who was diagnosed at six weeks old with Muscular Dystrophy. His mother, Patricia, knew they would have many challenges on the road ahead of them. Blake wants to be like all other teenage boys but being in and out of the hospital with pneumonia made it very difficult for him to have a normal teenage life. Hoping to decrease the number of times Blake had pneumonia and to try to keep him out of the hospital, Blake's parents worked with their insurance company to get the TotalCare SpO2RTŪ bed for their home. With the purchase of this bed, worries of pneumonia and hospitals have decreased making way for thoughts of high school and excitement of being a teenager.
