The Hill-Rom Task Light is a recessed, ceiling-mounted medical lighting system designed to brilliantly illuminate the patient care arena. The hospital lighting system is intended to be used in combination with ambient and/or reading light.
With the medical light fixtures installed in pairs on either side of the bed and featuring high output T5 lamp technology and two lamps per fixture, the Hill-Rom task light easily generates more light than any ceiling mounted “5-in-1” type solution.
Asymmetric light distribution technology provides even head-to-toe illumination and because of the dual light configuration, care giver shadows are virtually eliminated.

Easy To Clean and Service — Hill-Rom’s hospital lighting system, the Task Light, comes standard with an antimicrobial polyester powder coating that stands up to toughest cleaning protocols and promotes a clean patient environment. The IP65 ingress barrier door provides a seal against dust, dirt and moisture and provides easier maintenance. The shielded lamp design of the medical light fixtures keeps the lamp from retaining dust. For superior cleaning and protection, the optional ingress barrier seals the light and protects the patient environment from lingering dust or particulate matter.
Easy To Install — The simple, robust one piece medical lighting system is designed for lay-in and hard ceilings. Additionally the medical light fixtures drop into a tee grid for easy installation.
