Infusion Management Device (IMD) IV Transfer Pole & StandThe Hill-Rom Infusion Management Device (IMD) facilitates an ergonomic and efficient transfer of IV bags and infusion pumps during the patient transport process. The IMD works a couple of different ways. Most efficiently, the IMD leverages the adjustable height feature of the bed to pass the IV pole between the bed arm, cart and service head arm. In the event that “up and down” motion is not available on the bed you can use the hydraulic cart to facilitate transfer of the IV pole. It can reduce patient transfer time and is more efficient.
